EDCH offers a cost effective, proprietary billing support solution to GSM operators who wish to outsource their TAP file generation procedure. The EDCH CDR scheduler can receive GSM switch data from the client and perform content verification, conversion and call rating based on pre-defined rating criteria (Inter-Operator Tariff), then format the data into TAP (the universal GSM format) for subsequent processing via EDCH’s clearing and settlement service. The service supports circuit switched (voice and SMS), GPRS and 3G (video) data types for most GSM-compliant switches.
