Fraud Detection and Control (High Usage Reporting)
 

EDCH provides GSM industry standard high usage reporting (HUR) based on processed TAP files, giving clients the ability to monitor any abnormal or high usage made by their subscribers roaming abroad or similarly by visiting roamers in the clients’ own networks within a 24 hour period.

The High Usage Report provides details of usage exceeding the pre-defined threshold in relation to circuit switched services, packet switched services and content transactions as per the GSMA Fraud Forum specifications.

EDCH is in full support of the NRTRDE (Near Real Time Roaming Data Exchange) project and compliant with GSMA Fraud Forum guidelines.

  In the case of RAP files, they too will be acknowledged and processed according to GSM Association standards. Using the RAP procedure helps to prevent the delay of erroneous TAP files, since rejected records are removed from TAP files and inserted into RAP files for independent correction.
